Whether you are looking at table and chair rentals or you are deciding on tent rentals for an outdoor graduation party, it is always a good idea to make your reservations as soon as possible. In addition to making sure that those reservations are taken care of, it is also nice to know that you can pay for some of the expenses well in advance of the event.

Before you can make any plans for the number of table and chair rentals that you will need, you obviously need to have an idea for a guest count. Once you have estimated the guest count, you can figure out the number of square feet that you will need in the tent you will rent. By taking the number of guests times, for instance, you can figure out the tent size as well as the number of table and chairs that you will need. By multiplying by 15 square feet you can determine the amount of space that you will need for seating at tables. Multiplying by six square feet, in comparison, you can understand the amount of space that would be needed for standing or cocktail areas
If you want to know how much space to plan for guests seating in chairs at a wedding, you would take the number of guests time eight.
